DAY 2

Reykjavik – Whale Watching + Blue lagoon Thermal Bath

  • Following a delightful breakfast, our morning adventure leads us to a captivating whale-watching tour.
  • With luck on our side, we may encounter an array of majestic sea creatures, including Minke whales, Dolphins, Harbour porpoises, Seals, and perhaps even the impressive Killer whales.
  • In the afternoon, our journey continues towards the renowned Blue Lagoon.
  • This extraordinary destination offers a unique experience, allowing guests to luxuriate in the soothing embrace of warm geothermal waters, surrounded by enchanting black lava fields.
  • The Blue Lagoon’s therapeutic waters, enriched with mineral salts, silica, and blue-green algae, provide a sanctuary to unwind and escape the pressures of daily life.

DAY 3

Reykjavik – Seljalandsfoss – Skogafoss – Plane Wreck – Black Sand Beach – Vik

  • After a satisfying breakfast, we set forth on an adventure to South Iceland, beginning with the renowned Seljalandsfoss, made famous by the Gerua song.
  • This captivating waterfall boasts a 30-minute walking trail behind its cascading waters, offering a unique perspective (consider bringing rain gear to stay dry).
  • Our journey continues to the majestic Skogafoss waterfall, where, on sunlit days, the spectacle includes the simultaneous appearance of at least two rainbows.
  • Following this, we venture to the iconic Solheimasandur, home to the famous plane wreck immortalized in the Gerua song. Shuttle buses will transport us to this captivating location.
  • In the later afternoon, our path leads us to Reynisfjara, the renowned BLACK SAND BEACH—one of its kind globally.
  • Marvel at the striking Rock Apostles in the ocean, witness the intriguing Basalt Rock columns, and explore cave formations along the shore. Note: The beach is consistently windy.

DAY 4

Vik – Skaftafell Visitor Centre – Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon & Diamond Beach

  • After having breakfast, we will set out to explore two of Iceland’s most breath taking destinations – Skaftafell National Park and Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon.
  • Our journey begins towards Skaftafell National Park, a stunning area where a birch forest serves as an oasis amidst the colossal tongues of the Vatnajökull glacier and the sands of Skeiðarárasandur and take a brief pause to watch a 30 minutes documentary.
  • Our next destination is the mesmerizing Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, renowned for its awe-inspiring beauty.
  • Massive icebergs regularly break off from the glacier into the lagoon, slowly melting as they drift towards the nearby sea. We’ll take a photo stop and stroll around the lagoon, soaking in the breath taking landscape. Additionally, we’ll indulge in an amphibian boat ride on the lagoon for an immersive experience.
  • On the opposite side of the lagoon lies Diamond Beach, where icebergs grace the shoreline, creating a picturesque setting perfect for photography.

DAY 5

Vik – Tomato Farm + Golden Circle tour (Thingvellir National Park, Geysers, Gullfoss) – Reykholt

  • After breakfast, we head to the Golden Circle.
  • Our first stop is the Tomato Farm, showcasing greenhouse farming powered by geothermal energy.
  • Here, savor a local specialty with 1 Tomato Ice Cream + 1 Tomato Cheese Cake per couple.
  • Continuing our journey, we visit Geyser to witness the Little Geysers and the impressive Strokkur Geyser erupting every 8 minutes.
  • Next is the breath taking Gullfoss Waterfall, cascading in two folds.
  • Our final destination is Þingvellir National Park, situated on Iceland’s largest lake, Silfra Lake.
  • This UNESCO World Heritage Site is where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates drift apart annually, creating a place of remarkable beauty.

Reykholt – Into The Glacier Cave Tour

  • In the morning, we embark on a journey to Langjökull, Iceland’s second-largest glacier, revealing in enchanting views along the way.
  • Our first stop is the Deildartunguvher Hot Springs, Europe’s hottest spring, where water erupts between 90 to 120 degrees every second, making for a captivating photo-stop.
  • Next, we visit the stunning Hraunfossar & Barnafoss waterfalls, offering a picturesque 10-minute walking trail.
  • Continuing our adventure, we get an up-close experience on the Langjokull Glacier with the Into the Glacier tour.
  • Board a Monster truck for a guided tour inside the first man-made cave beneath the glacier, revealing the hidden world below.
  • The one-hour walking tour inside the glacier is complemented by a 30-minute Super Jeep journey each way, making it a truly unique and unforgettable experience, unlike anything you’ll encounter elsewhere in your life.

Reykholt – Glanni waterfalls – Akureyri City tour – Akureyri

  • Today, we embark on an extensive drive, traversing diverse landscapes in what is considered one of the most picturesque routes of the journey to Akureyri, the capital of North Iceland.
  • Along the way, we pause briefly for a photo opportunity at Glanni waterfalls.
  • In the evening, indulge in a leisurely stroll and a guided walking orientation tour of Akureyri town, exploring key landmarks such as the Church and the charming old town pedestrian street.

DAY 8

Akureyri – Diamond Circle (Godafoss, Lake Myvatn, Namaskarad) – Myvatn Nature Bath

  • Today, we immerse ourselves in the renowned Diamond Circle tour of North Iceland.
  • Our first stop is the Godafoss waterfall, often referred to as the waterfall of the pagan gods.
  • Continuing our journey, we explore the captivating Lake Myvatn area throughout the day, known for its fascinating features like the Namaskard geothermal boiling mud pool area.
  • Witness the incredible boiling mud pools and steam vents of Namaskard, followed by the Krafia area, marked by volcanic eruptions between 1975 and 1984
  • To unwind, we conclude the day with a visit to the exquisite Myvatn Nature Baths, offering a relaxing geothermal bath in a breath taking natural lagoon.

Akureyri – Flyover Iceland – Keflavik

  • Today, we complete check-out and head to Reykjavik.
  • Upon arrival, our itinerary includes a visit to Flyover Iceland, The 35-minute experience at Flyover Iceland offers a detailed exploration of Iceland’s diverse and picturesque landscapes, showcasing its iconic natural wonders.
  • From cascading waterfalls and volcanic landscapes to glaciers and geysers, the virtual tour captures the essence of Iceland’s unique beauty.
  • The highlight of the visit is the Ultimate Flying Ride, an 8.5-minute segment that takes you soaring through the skies, providing a bird’s-eye view of Iceland’s most spectacular sights.
  • Following the visit, we drive towards Keflavik and proceed to check in at the hotel.
